Congratulations to the revived Journey band for topping the US Billboard 200 chart last week. With more than 104,000 copies sold on their debut week, Journey truly is back and rockin’.
Filipinos all over the world are truly proud of the result because of Journey’s Filipino frontman Arnel Pineda did not disappoint anyone. Arnel Pineda brought the band’s mojo back. Energy, excitement, and new group of followers tagged along the talented Arnel. I am not giving all the credits to him, the band definitely deserves all the credits. However, Arnel brought something new and yet familiar rush and intoxication to the band that’s why, I guess, the Revelation received this kind of attention.
Revelation is exclusively distributed in the US by Wal Mart and is also available worldwide. Unfortunately, the Philippines may have to wait a little longer to grab a copy of the album. As for me, I am going to run to Wal Mart and get me a copy myself and I hope my support will help the album sales to move up a notch or two in the Billboard Chart this week.
